For us, this Christmas has been an amazing and magical time for many reasons. First of all, having an almost 3 year old around this time of year and the excitement of Santa and presents is so uplifting. Finally having a home and farm of our own and focusing on our family has been great for us.
This month by far has been our most successful to date as Marilyn Mae Farm. We are beyond grateful to be able celebrate this along with so many people being able to enjoy our products this Christmas. Life still hasn't slowed down! Between milking goats, making candles, farmers markets and selling eggs we are busy sun up to sun down. Last night we began mapping out our plans for our gardens which we hope will be bigger and better than last year along with plans to maybe sell our extra fresh veggies and eggs at our new farm stand. We're also getting close to a PPT meeting for Mae to go to pre-school to continue her therapies. She's growing up so fast!
Dan surprised me with a beautiful photo on canvas of Mae's newborn photo at just two days old. I can't stop looking at it and cannot believe that was once our little girl! I think Dan and I are just as anxious to sneak Mae's Christmas presents down to the tree tonight so that she can wake up in the morning to the magic of Christmas.
