Hi y’all! So I figure it’s gotta be a number of years since we’ve done a blog post sooooo we should probably start over….. or update y’all since it’s been forever and a lot has changed.  My name is Beth and I am married to Dan and we have a now seven year old daughter named Mae. She is our world. Life has been crazy since Mae was born. We found out at when she was almost 1 year old that Mae suffered a stroke at birth. First and foremost we would like to thank you for choosing a small local family owned business like ours for your soy candle needs. It is much appreciated! The Christmas season was as a very busy one for us.  In 2018 we doubled our total business from 2017.  Crazy.  We were pedal to the metal in Q4 and afterwards we took a much needed mini-break. Merry Christmas!

For us, this Christmas has been an amazing and magical time for many reasons. First of all, having an almost 3 year old around this time of year and the excitement of Santa and presents is so uplifting. Finally having a home and farm of our own and focusing on our family has been great for us. This month by far has been our most successful to date as Marilyn Mae Farm. As we look back on this year and what we are thankful for we realize that this is the first thanksgiving in over a decade that Spotty Brown won't be celebrating with us. That makes us incredibly sad but we are also thankful for the time we had with him and that we know that we were able to give him the best care and treatments for his cancer.
